This Years Theme – ‘Echoes of the Soul’

Every action, word, and intention leaves an echo on the soul. Some mistakes, sins, regret, create a distance from God, whilst other actions bring us closer. The soul is never silent, and is always responding to how we turn towards God.

Asking forgiveness for sins and mistakes helps a person repent, purify the heart, and improve their relationship with God. Repentance is the soul’s response to its own shortcomings. When a person seeks forgiveness, they are not only asking God to forgive past sins and mistakes, they are actively reshaping their soul. Each act of repentance removes the negative echoes left by sin and replaces them with humility, awareness, and peace.

Sending blessings and peace upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ strengthens our connection with those sent by God who taught us how to live righteous lives, as well as being grateful to Allah for showing us the path that can purify our soul. This creates positive echoes of love, light, and blessings that settle within the heart.
